Work Experience

  • Network Analyst – Provide network support,system design, training, and installation of new networks for Windows NT and 2000 networks.
  • Network Administrator – Supervised one full-time employee, and administered 5 NT servers, 1 Citrix server, 1 2000 server, 1Novell server and technical support for approximately 6 other technology staff within the district. Other duties included web page development, email,security, and communications for the Lycoming County Library System, as well as training public and staff in general computer use and advanced software functionality to use Microsoft Office products and manage small networks.
  • Network Administrator – Developed and installed local area networking services using Novell Network System, trained staff in word processing and spreadsheets, and aided in the development of software to access proprietary database information for specialized reports using Visual Basic.
  • PC Specialist – Trained staff in Indianapolis,IN and Williamsport, PA in word processing and spreadsheet software packages,as well as evaluated hardware and software use and provided detailed recommendations for improved performance for two sites with 20+ computers and staff each.
  • Programmer Analyst – Helped create custom modifications to Macola software, a manufacturing, time management and accounting package. New programs were created for customers using C++, Dbase,and COBOL to provide solutions to route and delivery services.
