This innovative program delivers advanced training, specific to Honda and Acura vehicles. Master mechanical skills alongside expert faculty. Study advanced systems and component theories. Learn the nuances of Honda technology. From service and repair to maintenance and diagnostics, there’s so much to learn and we’re here to lead the way. 

Graduates of this major can earn a bachelor of science degree in automotive technology management, available online or on-campus, with just four more semesters of applied technology management coursework.

Penn College classes add global travel to students’ education

Supporting Pennsylvania College of Technology’s mission to equip future leaders with real-world experience, faculty members led students in exploring new parts of that world through six 2024 Global Experience classes. In Europe, students explored the origin and future of objects of their study, and in Latin America, they used their budding skills to serve others. Around 135 students participated in the classes.

Penn College announces hiring of assistant dean

Pennsylvania College of Technology has named veteran educator Ali L. Lorson as assistant dean of transportation technologies. Lorson comes to Penn College from the Mifflinburg Area School District, where she served as nontraditional education coordinator. In that role, she provided leadership in the creation, execution and assessment of district services and programs, including growing post-secondary opportunities for students.

Automotive prof shares advice in MOTOR magazine

Christopher J. Holley, associate professor of automotive technology at Pennsylvania College of Technology, is one of three college faculty members interviewed by MOTOR magazine for its article, "Back-to-School at Automotive Colleges." The article aims to share advice with automotive students, preparing them for a successful new school year. In addition to Holley, two other veteran automotive professors are featured; they hail from colleges in Illinois and Oregon.

Students in the automotive technology: Honda PACT program recently visited the Honda Heritage Center and Honda manufacturing facility in Marysville, Ohio, learning about the history of the Honda Motor Co. and its various technologies, as well as how the manufacturing process relates to their curriculum at Penn College.

Master Automobile Service Technology accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).

Students in this major will gain valuable experience through an internship with a Honda/Acura dealership. This relationship with the dealership is vital to successful completion of the major and must be established prior to enrollment. Therefore, we ask that prospective students contact us immediately after submitting their application so that we may explain the options available to them.

This major is subject to the transfer standards established by the College. Exceptions must be approved by the school dean.
