Six groups of Pennsylvania College of Technology students recently completed an exercise in merging business with technology, designing Web sites to various nonprofit clients' specifications some of which will go online in the coming days.

A new address information update feature has been added to the Student Information System . Students now have the ability to change their home (permanent) address, local address and emergency-contact information through the SIS. Previously, only a student's local address could be updated on the site.

The Penn College student chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers has taken first place in the IEEE Region 2 Web Site Contest. Junior-year students from Penn College's physician assistant program participated in Susquehanna Health System's Health Festival, held April 22 at the Lycoming Mall in Muncy. The Penn College Outdoor Adventure Club braved cold temperatures and rain Tuesday night camping on the ATHS lawn. Club members had the idea to camp on campus to promote the club and stir up interest. While only eight members spent the night, several showed up for the free food, music, movies, Frisbee and slack-lining. Anyone who happened to come by was encouraged to eat and have fun.

The Residence Life Office at Pennsylvania College of Technology has announced its latest round of honors, lauding students and programs within the institution's on-campus housing complexes.
