The American Institute of Floral Designers has chosen a Pennsylvania College of Technology student for a scholarship to attend its 2006 National Symposium in Washington, D.C., from July 4-8.
Oriana M. Barish, a floral design/interior plantscape student from Nyack, N.Y., was selected as this year's recipient of the AIFD Northeastern Regional Scholarship, which will pay for her attendance at the symposium.
The event offers participants the opportunity to network with other designers and attend programs and workshops from some of the industry's most-respected floral artists.
