Members of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Phi Beta Lambda chapter excelled in competition at PBL's annual State Leadership Conference, held this past weekend in Lancaster.
The 35th annual conference is part of PBL, which is the postsecondary division of the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda Inc., a national nonprofit educational association of students preparing for careers in business or related fields.
Penn College students who placed first in their competitions were Aaron McCoppin, Woodridge, N.J., Network Concepts & Network Design; Ange Rymer, Jersey Shore, Human Resources Management; Jason Aloise, New Hope, Network Design; and Garry Hurley, Williamsport, Java Programming.
Matthew Bower, Jersey Shore, placed second in Telecommunications; and Hurley placed third in C++ Programming.
Students who placed will attend the National PBL Conference in Nashville, Tenn.,in June.
Penn College PBL welcomes all students from any major to attend meetings, participate in activities and become a member of its growing organization.
