A professor of business administration/business law at Pennsylvania College of Technology presented a paper at the Conference on Emerging Issues in Business & Technology, held Nov. 3-5 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Irwin H. Siegel's paper, titled "Applying Organizational Theory Concepts: The Studebaker Case," also was published in the conference proceedings.

Janet McMahon, associate professor of nursing at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was selected to receive the 2005 Emerging Professional-Graduate Degree Award from the College of Health and Human Development Alumni Society at The Pennsylvania State University.

The director of instructional technology and distance learning at Pennsylvania College of Technology recently earned her doctoral degree. Jennifer McLean completed her Ph.D. in education at the Minnesota-based Capella University with a specialization in teaching and learning.

Four Penn College faculty members recently presented a continuing legal-education seminar on "Identity Theft" to members of the Lycoming Law Association. Rhonda L. Inman, associate professor of avionics at Penn College,was elected president of the Association for AvionicsEducation when the group held its conference and annual meeting at the college's Thompson Professional Development Center this past week. Among those presenting were Brett A. Reasner and William F. Stepp IV, associate professors of aviation at the college.
