Frederick G. "Rick" Terry, director of the Factory Built Housing Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology, made a presentation recently to a group of commercial modular builders, manufacturers and other industry attendees at the 23rd Annual Modular Building Institute Convention and Trade Show.

More and more Penn College employees are adding their support to the Madigan Library Campaign. One of them is Jennifer McLean, director of instructional technology and distance learning, who, with her husband, made a gift to the Madigan Library Campaign in their children's names.

An early childhood educator at Pennsylvania College of Technology's Children's Learning Center was chosen to receive the Terri Lynn Lokoff Child Care Foundation National Child Care Teacher Award. Kathryn P. (Kay) Jerald, a group leader at the Children's Learning Center, heads its toddler class for children about 18 months to 3 years old.

Tammy S. Clossen, assistant professor of dental hygiene at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will be honored for the second consecutive year in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers." Clossen's biography will appear in the 10th edition of the book, to be published later this year. Clossen also appeared in the book's ninth edition, published in 2005.

Jane J. Benedict, associate professor of nursing at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will be honored in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers." Benedict's biography will appear in the 10th edition of the book, to be published later this year. Teachers who are honored in the book have been nominated by a former student.

Kirk M. Cantor, professor of plastics and polymer technology at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will be honored for the second time in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers." Cantor's biography will appear in the 10th edition of the book, to be published later this year, and also appeared in the book's ninth edition, published in 2005.

PCToday continues its regular feature welcoming new full-time and regular part-time Penn College employees, as reported by the Human Resources Office. Among the latest additions: Karen Fessler , Supervisor of Purchasing, starting March 27 Michelle Harvey , Regular Part-Time Food Service Worker, Susquehanna Room, Food Services, effective March 20.

Robert M. Werkmeister, assistant professor of aviation at Pennsylvania College of Technology, accepted the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award at a recent Federal Aviation Administration safety seminar in Mechanicsburg.
