Associate Professor New President of Association for Avionics Education

Thomas D. Inman, associate professor of avionics at Penn College,was elected president of the Association for AvionicsEducation when the group held its conference and annual meeting at the college's Thompson Professional Development Center this past week.
Among those presenting were Brett A. Reasner and William F. Stepp IV, associate professors of aviation at the college.
Stepp's topic was continuing airworthiness, and several attendees commented that they would change their curricula as a result of his presentation.
Reasner spoke about the aviation internship program at Penn College. The attendees were impressed by the opportunities afforded students.
Joining Inman on the organization's executive board are Blair Balden, Western Michigan University, first vice president; Neill Fulbright, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, second vice president;Mickey Shriver, Tarrant County College, secretary;Renee Hendricks, Purdue University, treasurer;Robin Ruggiero, Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, first delegate;andAndrew Kneissl, Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, second delegate.
In addition to presentations, conference participants toured the L-3 Communications Electron Devices factory, the Textron Lycoming factory, and the college's Lumley Aviation Center in Montoursville.
