Penn College senior Greg Solyak (Lititz) received an honorable mention for United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Division II Player of the Week honorsduring the week ending Jan. 9. Solyak averaged 23.5 points and 11 rebounds, notching two double-doubles in a 1-1 week for the Wildcats. He had a season-high 30 points against Division III Misericordia University.

Penn State head wrestling coach Cael Sanderson will be the guest speaker at Penn College Wrestling Day on Sunday, Jan. 16, featuring a full schedule of activities to celebrate reinstatement of the college's wrestling program. Pennsylvania College of Technology, in conjunction with the Penn State University Athletic Conference, has announced the recipients of the Fall 2010 All-Academic Team award. The award is given to student-athletes with a grade-point average of 3.0 or better in the semester of competition. Of 95 student-athletes competing in the fall semester, 42 made the grade.
