The American Red Cross was pleased with the turnout for Wednesday's Bloodmobile at the Bush Campus Center, where a total of 146 individuals registered to give blood and 117 pints were collected. There were 35 first-time donors and, although the goal was not met, every pint collected goes to saving another life.

The funeral was Monday for Richard C. Mason II, a CAD Technology specialist with Workforce Development& Continuing Education, who died Wednesday, Dec. 8. A member of the Penn College family for more than 11 years, he also served as an instructor in the School of Construction and Design Technologies.
This year's holiday card-decorating winners were announced atthe Dec. 1lighting ceremony outside the ATHS. The American Welding Society won first prize among student groups, followed by Phi Beta Lambda and, in a tie for third, Campus Crusade for Christ and the Student Government Association.

Although our filters stop an average of 30,000 spam messages a day, we cannot block them all without also blocking legitimate e-mail.
Penn College Police have issued a Crime Alert for all students, faculty and staff, advising them to lock their vehicles to protect against thefts like those occurring on and around the main campus the past two evenings.
