Chef Judy Shimp and her culinary students invite you to join them Sundays and Mondays this semester for breakfast and brunch at Le Jeune Chef Restaurant on Penn College's Main Campus. A breakfast menu will be served from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and the brunch buffet will be open from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Reservations are suggested due to limited seating; takeout orders are available.

Penn State President Graham B. Spanier's annual "State of the University Address" will be broadcast live via satellite to the Slate Run Room of Penn College's Professional Development Center at 3:30 p.m Friday. The address, delivered in the University's sesquicentennial year, will focus on the theme of "Building on Tradition to Chart the Future."

The Penn College Foundation is giving employees, current and former students, and the public an opportunity to honor and memorialize James Everett Logue, associate professor of English. Logue,who died Sept. 1, was a veteran faculty member, a "Master Teacher" honoree and a former College administrator.

The funeral will be Saturday for James E. Logue, associate professor of English at Penn College, who died Wednesday, Sept. 1. A veteran faculty member, former administrator and 1988 recipient of the "Master Teacher" award, he has been characterized as an "inspired and inspiring teacher, good friend to innumerable students and staff." The service will be at 10 a.m.
