Nearly two dozen Penn College business and hospitality students made their mark at 149th running of the storied Kentucky Derby in early May. For the past 30 years, Penn College has been part of that story.

Culinary arts technology grad and current business administration student Melyce E. Kenyon, owner and operator of MK Bubble Drinks, visited with students in the Careers in Hospitality class, taught by Chef Mary G. Trometter, assistant professor of hospitality management/culinary arts.

Just in time to relieve any end-of-semester tension, the Penn College Business Club celebrated the last week of classes by cajoling a group of business faculty – and a staff member – to help them raise funds via a “Pie a Professor” event outside the Breuder Advanced Technology & Health Sciences Center.
