Several Wednesday events at Penn College, geared to children and the young at heart – and another certainly to be avoided by the faint-of-heart! – put the campus in the mood for Halloween.  Students living in Residence Life's Village Apartments handed out goodies to youngsters going door-to-door during convenient trick-or-treat hours, followed by a carnival in Rose Street Commons.

Pennsylvania College of Technology student Jonathan T. Hall, of Williamsport, was named one of two recipients of the National Association of College & University Food Services Mid-Atlantic Region’s Nancy W. Carrier Scholarship for 2016. Hall, a full-time student who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in applied management, is also an assistant cook for Penn College Dining Services.

More than 600 students – 601, to be exact – were served when Dining Services' long-running Midnight Breakfast tradition was held this past week in the Keystone Dining Room. Timed each semester to help relieve the dread and panic of Finals Week, the free event serves up a yummy blend of food, music, massages and other giveaways. – Photos by Caleb G.
