The golf and men’s and women’s soccer teams were unbeaten for Pennsylvania College of Technology this past week. FLASHBACK Golf Penn College golfers stayed perfect as they won their fourth Penn State University Athletic Conference match of the season, topping a seven-team field in the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Invitational on Thursday.

Cathleen Aviles Freshman Cathleen Aviles, of Robesonia, was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week for the period ending Sept.

Calvin Foust Sophomore Calvin Foust, of Palmyra, was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for the period ending Sept. 22. Foust led the Wildcats in the team’s only invitational of the week at Penn State Schuylkill, shooting a 79 to tie for first among all the golfers in attendance.

In their best combined week of the fall sports season, Pennsylvania College of Technology athletic teams recorded seven wins and just three losses. David Munn Senior David Munn, of Athens, was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Goalkeeper of the Week and the Penn State University Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 15.  In the team’s 2-0 week, Munn recorded two shutouts and made six saves.  The honors are Munn’s first of the season.

Colleagues on the volleyball court, Lady Wildcats also team up to tie-dye. Employing squirt bottles – a change over past years' method of dunking garments into buckets of pink – participants douse their T-shirts with color.

Pennsylvania College of Technology golf and men’s soccer teams stood out last week as the golfers won their own invitational and the men’s soccer team won both of its matches. FLASHBACK Golf Playing Monday at the White Deer Golf Complex, Penn College topped a nine-team Penn State University Athletic Conference field with a 323-stroke total.
