The United States Collegiate Athletic Association announced its All-American and All-Academic Team award winners for men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball Wednesday night. Penn College totaled six All-Americans and four All-Academic Team selections. All-American honors are based on athletic performance throughout the season and are voted on by the institutions of the USCAA.
Pennsylvania College of Technology fall student-athletes had strong representation in the Penn State University Athletic Conference end-of-season awards with 13 making all-conference. The Wildcats also had two Player of the Year selections in senior Christopher Brennan (New Hope) for men’s soccer and junior Corey Teeple (Lake Ariel) for golf.

Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s soccer and women’s volleyball teams look to defend their Penn State University Athletic Conference championships as playoffs begin this week. The fourth-seeded volleyball team (11-5 PSUAC) hosts No. 5 seed Penn State Hazleton (10-5) at 7 p.m.

Christopher Brennan Senior Christopher Brennan, of New Hope, has been named the Penn State University Athletic Conference and United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending Oct. 13. In the team’s 3-0 week, Brennan scored six goals – two in each of the team’s wins. He also recorded two assists, bringing to 14 his points total for the week.
Colleen Bowes Freshman Colleen Bowes, of Wayne, has been named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Women’s Soccer Goalie of the Week for the period ending Oct. 13. In the team’s 2-1 week, Bowes recorded two shutouts and notched 17 saves against No. 5 Alfred State. She allowed only one goal in the three games, with a .955 save percentage.
