Record-Setting Brennan Named Dual Soccer 'Player of the Week'

Christopher BrennanSenior Christopher Brennan, of New Hope, has been named the Penn State University Athletic Conference and United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending Oct. 13.  In the team’s 3-0 week, Brennan scored six goals – two in each of the team’s wins.  He also recorded two assists, bringing to 14 his points total for the week. Brennan has totaled 28 goals and 60 points so far this season, putting him at the top of the PSUAC rankings and second in the USCAA.  Against Penn State Hazleton on Tuesday, he scored five goals, breaking the Penn College single-game scoring record. Brennan and the Wildcats have qualified for the PSUAC playoffs and will wait to see what seed the team earns upon completion of other conference matches this weekend.
