A unique viewing experience unfolds for visitors to The Gallery at Penn College during its summer exhibition – “Books Undone 2: The Art of Altered Books,” opening May 30 and on display through July 21. The national juried exhibit showcases 64 works by 41 artists from 20 states. A reception is set for 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, June 2, in the gallery on the third floor of the Madigan Library at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

On the eve of their Saturday commencement ceremony, 12 students completing their bachelor’s degrees in architecture & sustainable design presented their culminating works in The Gallery at Penn College. The reception included family members, faculty, classmates, alumni and industry professionals. Each graduating senior was tasked with the design and development of a significant building in a location of their choice.

Exploring the creative journeys and promising career paths of eight graduating seniors in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s graphic design major, a reception was held April 26 for the Graphic Design Student Portfolio Exhibition. The exhibit runs through Friday, May 3, in the gallery located on the third floor of The Madigan Library. The remaining day’s hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Graduating seniors in the architecture and sustainable design major at Pennsylvania College of Technology will showcase their capstone projects at The Gallery at Penn College from May 10 to 13. A reception for “Architecture & Sustainable Design: Senior Capstone Projects” is set for 4 to 6 p.m. (with remarks at 4:30 p.m.) on Friday, May 10, in the gallery, on the third floor of The Madigan Library. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

“Graphic Design 2024” opens April 24 at The Gallery at Penn College and runs through May 3. The annual student portfolio exhibition showcases the work of graduating seniors in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s graphic design major. A reception honoring the students is set for 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 26.

A large crowd of art lovers turned out Tuesday night for a reception and artist's talk, celebrating The Gallery at Penn College's exhibit, "Found: The Sculpture of Randall Cleaver." The artist, a Penn State graduate and Maryland resident, received a warm welcome from campus and community members.

A playful exhibit that recently opened in The Gallery at Penn College has already extended its stay. Initially set to conclude on Feb. 29, "Found: The Sculpture of Randall Cleaver" will be on display through March 29. A reception and artist's talk is set for 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30.

A collaborative exhibit with The Gallery at Penn College resulted in one of numerous industry honors recently earned by the World of Little League Museum. The museum took home a program-record four ISHY Awards this year, as presented by the International Sports Heritage Association, for its creative content marking the 75th anniversary of the Little League Baseball World Series.

A renowned printmaker whose multicolor intaglio prints are in museums around the world is sharing his work through Dec. 1 in The Gallery at Penn College. Yuji Hiratsuka’s “Retro Urban Mode” exhibit showcases his whimsical and satirical images, crafted with his unique technique of chine collé with etching. He will also offer an artist’s talk via Zoom at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9. Registration is required and can be made at the gallery website.
