The job market for the Class of 2023 is expected to be a robust one. Employer participation at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s recent Spring Career Fair reflected that positive projection. More than 230 companies, offering thousands of jobs and internships in an array of fields, met with 1,127 students throughout the daylong event, split between the college’s Bardo Gymnasium and Field House.

Chef Brian W. Doyle, a 1994 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology's culinary arts major and today the owner of Café Avalaun in Cleveland, returned to campus last week to lend insight to students.

Students in civil engineering and surveying technologies, accompanied by three faculty members, visited an active construction site south of campus in Allenwood this past week.

The 11th Science Festival for local schoolchildren and their families, held annually at Penn College (but for that 2021 COVID-related pause), brought 682 adventurous participants to the campus Field House on Feb.

Singletary's exhibit, a first of its kind for The Gallery at Penn College, runs through March 22. Thursday's scheduled artist talk and reception for John Singletary’s “Through Lines/Fault Lines” exhibit on the third floor of Madigan Library has been postponed to Wednesday, March 22.

Artists working in all media and living within 100 miles of Williamsport are invited to apply for “100 Miles: The 2023 Regional Juried Exhibition,” to be displayed June 1 through July 20 at The Gallery at Penn College. The “call for entries” application and additional information are available on the gallery’s website. Deadline is Feb. 28.

Transcending the limitations of the photographic medium, John Singletary creates multidisciplinary installation experiences. His work graces The Gallery at Penn College through March 22. Singletary’s “Through Lines/Fault Lines” is the first exhibition of multimedia work on screens in the gallery’s history.

Making another impressive appearance at a time-honored winter venue, Pennsylvania College of Technology delivered a Wildcat's share of crowd-pleasing activities at the 2023 Pennsylvania Farm Show (Jan. 7-14) in Harrisburg.
