Artists working in all media and living within 100 miles of Williamsport are invited to apply for “100 Miles: The 2023 Regional Juried Exhibition,” to be displayed June 1 through July 20 at The Gallery at Penn College. The “call for entries” application and additional information are available on the gallery’s website. Deadline is Feb. 28.

Transcending the limitations of the photographic medium, John Singletary creates multidisciplinary installation experiences. His work graces The Gallery at Penn College through March 22. Singletary’s “Through Lines/Fault Lines” is the first exhibition of multimedia work on screens in the gallery’s history.

Making another impressive appearance at a time-honored winter venue, Pennsylvania College of Technology delivered a Wildcat's share of crowd-pleasing activities at the 2023 Pennsylvania Farm Show (Jan. 7-14) in Harrisburg.

In a festive ceremony that warmly staved off the chill of encroaching winter, Pennsylvania College of Technology held its Fall Commencement at 11 a.m. Saturday. Student-athlete Maci N. Ilgen, of Spring Mills, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, was the class speaker. President Michael J. Reed presented an Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award to Anthony J.

As Penn College winds down for the year – before the crush of last-minute holiday errands (and despite wintry weather that may stymie even the most urgent to-do lists) – PCToday delivers a moment or two of serenity. No ice-scraping, no gift-wrapping, no crowd-jostling and no sidewalk-shoveling. Just some beautiful images, come day or come night, from one side of campus to the other.

Cadets are joined in their holiday wishes by Capt. Jessica Slade (left), ROTC instructor. Bald Eagle Battalion, whose representatives recently donned Santa hats and gathered near three lighted trees outside Pennsylvania College of Technology's ROTC House, sends holiday greetings to members of the campus community and their families.

Two photography exhibits are showcasing the creative skills of Pennsylvania College of Technology students. One exhibit is on the first floor of the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport and is viewable through the center’s glass windows or from the inside when the facility is open.

Delightfully repurposed from a conference venue to a 1920s-era casino, the Mountain Laurel Room recently hosted the Wildcat Events Board's traditional Snow Ball. For a modest admission price, Penn College students and their guests enjoyed food, mocktails and games of chance – all steeped in period detail that made for a roaring good time! – Photos by Alexis M. Students in the Grand Pastry Display course placed a capstone on their baking & pastry arts studies Friday with a display that showed off the skills they’ve learned throughout their Penn College career, including the new skills of planning and preparing a pastry buffet.
