True to its name, Penn College's Student Engagement Office jams the schedule with activities that connect students to a variety of experiences. Any given day brings the prospect of a learning opportunity or a leadership challenge – and, many times, events that are just plain fun. So it is during "PC3," which begins each new academic year.

Following a pandemic hiatus that seemed to last longer than its comparably brief span, Penn College excitedly welcomed visitors Monday to a campus picnic: the leadoff to the diamond anniversary of the Little League Baseball® World Series (Aug. 17-28).

Renewing an autumnal rite of passage, Penn College greeted first-year and returning students for the start of the Fall 2022 semester during Welcome Weekend: a three-day (re)introduction to campus life that brings down the curtain on blissful summer and offers up a clean slate of possibility. The first installment of Penn College's My Tomorrow day camp (June 28 to July 1) provided middle-schoolers with a hands-on canvas on which to envision their own futures. The program, sponsored for the second year by the Soars Family, allowed students to explore any number of pathways – all of which lead to rewarding careers in fields that are never out of favor.
