Whether prepping the best possible garden at home or hearing how employers solve the skills gap at work, March brings two more virtual events in Penn College's series of topical presentations for the community. Scheduled mere days before the official start of spring, from 6-7 p.m.

The Community Theatre League, in conjunction with the Community Arts Center, will present "The Bridges of Madison County" this weekend at the CAC. Based on the popular 1992 novel by Robert James Waller (which was adapted into a film co-starring Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep three years later), the locally cast musical will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 2 p.m.

Journals, prompts, motivations, exercises and zines await visitors to the gallery … … where they can have a seat in the inspiring space … … or browse the array of artistic expression. A space for inspiration and contemplation awaits students and employees at The Gallery at Penn College, located on the third floor of the Madigan Library.
