“Textiles in Translation,” a collection of fiber-based artwork by 35 Pennsylvania regional members of Studio Art Quilt Associates, will be showcased at The Gallery at Penn College June 1 through July 22. The exhibition can be viewed in person at the gallery, located on the third floor of the Madigan Library at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Summer hours are: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fresh from the "American Idol" stage, Beane – a Loyalsock Township High School graduate and alumnus of the Uptown Music Collective – will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at the Community Arts Center. Also known as Brennan Hepler, the Boston-based singer/songwriter worked his way through hundreds of contestants on ABC's popular "Idol" show and ultimately broke into the top 12.
