Pennsylvania College of Technology's soccer teams open their seasons Wednesday at NCAA Division III Penn State University Abington, the men withnine returnees and high hopes and the women somewhat unsettled.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's women's volleyball team opened its season over the weekend by going 1-2 in the Penn State Beaver Volleyball Classic. The Wildcats defeated Penn State Beaver, 19-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-22; and lost to Ohio State Marion, 25-18, 18-25, 19-25, 22-25; and University of Cincinnati Clermont, 25-23, 22-25, 28-30, 13-25.

Twice delayed by rain, the annual Powder Puff Football game between On- and Off-Campus women finally was played Tuesday night. Off-Campus struck early, as Jess Foutz connected with Jackie Smith on a touchdown pass to go ahead 7-0. After an On-Campus punt, Amanda Reedy intercepted a Foutz pass to get the ball back.
