Pennsylvania College of Technology has hit a home run for Internet users. The Pennsylvania State University affiliate has teamed with Clear Channel Williamsport and Little League Baseball, Incorporated to offer play-by-play audio coverage of the 2002 Little League World Series on its Web site.

The success of alumni of a Pennsylvania College of Technology predecessor institution, Williamsport Technical Institute, soon will mean a great deal to Penn College students starting their own paths to success.

Adults considering a career change can receive free help courtesy of the "Project Choice" program at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Offered by the Counseling and Career Services Office at Penn College, Project Choice provides comprehensive career exploration for anyone wishing to forge a new career path.

Approximately 140 students have petitioned to graduate from Pennsylvania College of Technology in summer commencement ceremonies to be held Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport. The student speaker for the 11 a.m. event will be Susan D. Roberts, Lewisburg, who is enrolled in the Physician Assistant bachelor-degree major in the School of Health Sciences at Penn College.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has appointed an interim dean of student affairs and named interim directors of residence life and student activities. J. Elliott Strickland Jr., who had been director of student activities at Penn College since 1997, became interim dean of student affairs on July 17. He succeeds Dr. James E.

Brandon L. Lebo, a student in the Construction Management bachelor-degree major at Pennsylvania College of Technology, has been selected by the Construction Management Association of America Foundation as its first national scholarship winner.

A state-of-the-art data-acquisition system purchased with donations and grant funds will allow students time to explore additional subjects in the Civil Engineering Technology bachelor-degree major at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
