"A Visit to Albania, a Country Rising Slowly From Communism," is the title of the program to be presented in an April 27 faculty forum at the Pennsylvania College of Technology Library. The forum, which is the seventh of the series, will be presented from 3 to 4 p.m. by Richard C. Taylor, associate professor of plumbing and heating.

Adults, 55 and older, who want to learn more about using computers for fun and convenience may enroll in a noncredit course being offered in May at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro. This easy beginners' class, which is offered through Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Penn College, introduces the computer for enjoyment purposes.

Many people would like to learn to play the piano for pleasure, but do not have the time for weekly lessons. In a one-evening program in June at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus "Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People" participants can learn enough to have years of musical enjoyment, whether entertaining others or just for their own amusement.

Two firsts and two seconds. The Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team fared quite well when it hosted the East Regional Collegiate Outdoor Championship Saturday and Sunday. Beth Robinson (Williamsport) won the women's individual compound event and helped the Wildcats to a first-place finish in the women's compound team event by beating James Madison University, 231-222.

The Pennsylvania College of Technology men's volleyball team captured its first Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference championship Saturday with a 3-2 win over Harrisburg Area Community College. Individual game scores were 22-25, 25-16, 25-16, 21-25 and 15-9. "It feels wonderful. It really does," said Wes Strayer, coach of the Wildcats, after his team completed a 26-1 season.
