Mark A. Trueman has been named director of the paramedic program at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Trueman has been an instructor at Penn College since 2000. In addition to teaching in the college's School of Health Sciences, he is employed part time with Susquehanna Health System as a staff paramedic and is a volunteer member of the Trout Run Fire Co.

New Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer coach Jeff Finn has a tough act to follow. Finn succeeds Andy Richardson, whose Wildcat teams went 113-51-10 in 13 seasons and won league championships in 2000 and last year. While Finn has some big shoes to fill, the fact that he was Richardson's assistant coach for the last two years is a definite plus.
An Off-Campus Block Party will be held from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Vine Avenue. According to the Student Affairs Office, thepurpose of the Block Party is to provide a positive first impression of Williamsport for Pennsylvania College of Technology's off-campus students − and to help those students understand they are members of a community beyond the college.
