By the end of the week, all of the Pennsylvania College of Technology spring sports teams should be in action as the golf and men’s tennis squads get underway, the softball team resumes play after a 21-day layoff, and baseball and women’s tennis continue their seasons.
The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s tennis team got off to a great start in its spring season opener Saturday, the archery squad had another good showing last weekend and the college’s baseball team is set to resume its season. Women’s Tennis Hosting St. Elizabeth in North Eastern Athletic Conference action, the Lady Wildcats posted an 8-1 win.

With their campaigns recently ended, Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s and women’s basketball coaches took some time to reflect on their respective seasons while the baseball team got its season underway. Men’s Basketball “Obviously, record-wise (3-21 overall) it was a little disappointing,” first-year coach Ryan Callahan said.

Playing all of their games in North Eastern Athletic Conference action last week, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s and women’s basketball teams went a combined 0-4. The regular season concludes this week as each team plays four games, with their finales on Saturday at Bardo Gymnasium. Wildcat wrestlers also close out their season Saturday, at Muhlenberg College.
