Being an athlete at Pennsylvania College of Technology means more than hitting a ball or scoring a goal: It means giving back to the community and, during the Fall 2016 semester, Wildcats completed 1,648 community service hours. Wildcat athletes volunteered at 10 events, on campus and in the Williamsport community, and helped raise $1,575 for various charitable organizations.

Ending the first semester, Pennsylvania College of Technology young men’s and women’s basketball teams are off to a combined 2-12 start and both are seeking continued growth with mostly North Eastern Athletic Conference games after the holidays.
In its only game of the week, and last of the semester, the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost at home on Saturday against Valley Forge College, 65-50. Gwendolyn Lavelle, of Pocono Summit, led Penn College with 18 points and Jane Herman, of Greencastle, added 14 points as the Wildcats fell to 0-7 overall.
