Sixty Pennsylvania College of Technology students have joined other area medical staff to help with the Little League Baseball World Series through Aug. 24. Students enrolled in the emergency medical services and physician assistant programs at Penn College are volunteering throughout the series.
The College Store has announced the winners of the May College Store Buyback Promotion. The promotion was for student clubs and organizations to encourage their members and friends to recycle unwanted textbooks during the store's end-of-semester buyback.
Pennsylvania College of Technology's nursing program has received continued grant funding from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Foundation and Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania to help students pay for college expenses. The nursing program was awarded $117,000 from PHEF for the 2008-09 academic year.
The Tutoring Center hours for the Fall 200 semester will be 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. In addition, online tutoring will be available. Directions for accessing student accounts are available on the Academic Support Services Web site .
