A student enters his name in a Fall FIESTA drawing at the Institutional Advancement Office table staffed by Jim Finkler, annual giving officer. The Institutional Advancement Office congratulates Angela L. Feldman, whose name was drawn to win the Pennsylvania College of Technology desktop pen set that was on display at Tuesday's FallFIESTA on the Susquehanna Street Mall.

A pre-radiography major from Brockway, Feldman was one of the many students who entered their names in the drawing for the pen set, which was made by students in Penn College's automated manufacturing lab.

Jim Finkler, annual giving officer, represented the Institutional Advancement Office to give students information about the areas that office covers Alumni Relations, Annual Fund, Corporate Relations, the Penn College Foundation and Special Events.

Finkler also discussed the different fundraising efforts undertaken by students to help their fellow students succeed, most notably the Student Leader Legacy Scholarship Fund . The Student Leader Legacy Scholarship Fund was established by the Student Government Association in 2007. Students have raised thousands of dollars for the fund, and already three students have received awards from that scholarship.

Finkler will be working with SGA again this year to build student support for that scholarship fund and to spread the word among students about the importance of supporting Penn College as future alumni.
