Beginning with the new year, Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus will offer its array of noncredit education programs and industry training from a new location. The 35-acre North Campus facility on Route 6 is being sold to Shell, and the college will begin renting instructional space from the Wellsboro Area School District.

The practical nursing program at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus is scheduling pre-admission testing for the class that begins in January. Pre-admission testing must be completed before the application process begins. All applications for the January class must be submitted by Oct. 1.

For those interested in an entry-level position in the health-care field, the next medical assistant class at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus, located three miles east of Wellsboro, is scheduled to begin in September. Employment of medical assistants is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations as the health-services industry expands.
