A unique partnership formed in literally a few hours led to three flights between Montoursville and the Katrina-stricken Gulf Coast of Louisiana and Alabama, bringing relief in the form of urgently needed medicine and medical supplies. Mark A. Trueman has been named director of the paramedic program at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Trueman has been an instructor at Penn College since 2000. In addition to teaching in the college's School of Health Sciences, he is employed part time with Susquehanna Health System as a staff paramedic and is a volunteer member of the Trout Run Fire Co.
