The second annual Walk-It-Out Motorcycle Rally, a charity ride sponsored by Pennsylvania College of Technology's Wildcat Events Board, will be held Saturday, April 30. The rally begins at noon on Hagan Way, near the college's Madigan Library, and follows a 42-mile route a winding trek that includes Collomsville, Elimsport and Muncy before returning to main campus.

Human services students at Pennsylvania College of Technology will present an Assistive Technology Expo on April 29 in the college's Field House. The expo, scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature a broad range of services and equipment to assist individuals with disabilities. The displays will focus on mobility, communication and education.

One alumnus drove more than 500 miles (round trip) to volunteer at Pennsylvania College of Technology's Spring Open House and two others ended the day by getting engaged in a campus parking lot. There appears to be a whole lot of love going on at Penn College! Approximately 25 alumni returned to campus to volunteer their time, talent and enthusiasm at Open House, held March 26.

Girls in seventh and eighth grades visited campus Saturday to partake in SMART (Science and Math Applications in Real-World Technologies) Girls activities.

The Student Government Association at Pennsylvania College of Technology will hold its annual Silent Auction on April 6 to benefit a student-initiated scholarship fund that rewards campus involvement and leadership. The public is invited to view the sale items from noon to 4 p.m.

Students from five colleges and universities convened at Penn College on March 30 for the second annual Collaborative Care Conference. The group of 82 students and 15 facilitators representing a wide range of health occupations explored how health care providers can best serve underserved and vulnerable populations.

A "No Child Left Inside" workshop, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Educators, will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Penn College's Schneebeli Earth Science Center. The program will include outdoor activities that teachers can take back to their home schools, courtesy of such presenters as Jack E.

Brian M. McKeon, department head for natural sciences in Penn College's School of Integrated Studies,returns to the Community Theatre League stage as"Mack" in "A Family Plot," which begins a two-week run Friday at the 100 W. Third St. venue.

Several Penn College departments visited the STEM Fair at Park Forest Middle School in State College on March 16. The fair provides an opportunity for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students to engage in activities and presentations that convey that science, technology, engineering and math are viable and real career paths they can take.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Health Sciences will host its second annual 5K Walk/Run on April 16 to raise scholarship funds for students enrolled in health sciences majors at the college.
