The On-Campus Flag Football Team controlled the ball for the entire first quarter of Thursday's game against its Off-Campus challengers, thanks to quality play-calling by quarterback Benaiah Tucci. Tucci then passed for a touchdown to start the second quarter before the clock could even start, giving the On-Campus team an early 7-0 lead.
This year's lone graduating member of the Penn College tennis team was recognized during a brief "Senior Day" ceremony prior to Wednesday afternoon's match against Penn State Mont Alto. Eighteen students have been named to the Wildcat Dance Team for 2009-10, on the basis of auditions conducted Sept. 14-16 by coach Milissa M. Augustine. Impassioned students got the jump on next month's Homecoming observance, readily showing their Penn College Pride at Monday evening's women's soccer game against Lycoming College. The Wildcats came out on the other end of a 2-0 score, but the fan base marked by painted bodies and pure boosterism was strong.

Throughout his first nine years as cross-country coach at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Mike Paulhamus has made some bold predictions on how his teams would fare and they delivered every time. The Wildcat men have won seven conference championships including their last six in a row and finished second once under Paulhamus.
During her first season as coach of the Pennsylvania College of Technology coed tennis team, Aimee Plastow guided the squad to a conference championship. What will she do for an encore? "We really have a solid lineup. I see no reason why we can't be one of the top, if not the top team in the conference," Plastow said.

Last season, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team went unbeaten during the regular season and captured its fifth straight conference championship. But it was brought back down to earth when it entered the United States Collegiate Athletic Association playoffs.
Although Pennsylvania College of Technology women's volleyball coach Bambi Hawkins views her team as "young" in terms of collegiate experience, she hopes to field one of her stronger teams in recent years. The Wildcats are scheduled to begin their season Friday night in a tournament at Penn State Beaver. Tournament play concludes Saturday.
