It takes a team effort! Penn College lacrosse players are among those joining forces to boost awareness of a fellow student’s father’s search for a kidney donor. The organ donor campaign, known as “Kidney 4 Clark,” is for Clark Pitura, a New York City police detective and father of Dylan Clark Pitura, a student enrolled in heavy construction equipment technology: technician emphasis.

With the final week of the regular season looming, crunch time has arrived and United East Conference playoffs are on the line for Pennsylvania College of Technology athletes in six spring sports.

The Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s lacrosse team had a record-setting win this past week, while in other action, the women’s softball team went 2-2 in the United East.

Eight games into the United East Conference baseball season, the Pennsylvania College of Technology Wildcats hold first place with a 7-1 record.

The Penn College baseball team has stepped up to the plate to assist a former player’s brother who is battling Hodgkin lymphoma. Team members are selling $10 raffle tickets with proceeds targeting medical expenses incurred by Jed Webb. Jed, 19, is the younger brother of Chance Webb, who played for the Wildcats from 2021-23.

Four Pennsylvania College of Technology spring sports teams sported perfect records over the past week: the baseball and softball teams were both 4-0, and the men’s lacrosse and women’s tennis teams were 2-0.

Ready to go for the spring. Led by senior standout Peyton Mussina of Montoursville, Penn College's golf team is poised to pick up where they left off after eight fall outings — including winning the United East Fall Preview for the third year in a row where Mussina medaled for the third straight time — when they take to the links on Saturday and Sunday in the Pennsylvania Classic hosted by Penn State Altoona on the Penn State Blue Course.

The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s softball team put together a 6-0 week, while the college’s baseball and men’s lacrosse teams split in their games, and several basketball players received postseason honors.

The storied season and career for Pennsylvania College of Technology wrestler Noah Hunt came to a close on Friday in the NCAA Division III Championships, and now the athletic focus turns fully from winter to spring sports.

What once was a drab storage area in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Field House is now a functional team room for Wildcat athletics, thanks to staff from General Services. Carpenters, electricians, painters and plumbers transformed the space, which consisted of concrete walls and flooring with minimal lighting, into a crisp, clean room benefiting student athletes.
