Penn College will host a site review for continuing accreditation of its LPN, RN and baccalaureate nursing majors by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. A meeting will be held at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in the Tiadaghton Room of the Thompson Professional Development Center. Anyone interested can meet the visiting team and share comments about the program in person.

Jason Godeke, spotlighted in the latest exhibit in the Gallery at Penn College (Room 303 of the Madigan Library) spoke about his work during the opening reception Tuesday evening. Danielle M. Young, 27, of Lock Haven, a student in the associate-degree nursing major at Penn College, died Tuesday. College President Davie Jane Gilmour presented Young with her nursing degree in a special ceremony on May 24 attended by nursing faculty and staff and Young's family and friends.

The Gallery at Penn College recently added more works of art to the current exhibit, "Where Science Meets Art." Over half of the art in the exhibit was sent from Europe by members of the Society for Art of Imagination. Unfortunately, some works did not arrive for the opening day of the exhibit; instead, they spent a few weeks in customs.

Penn College Food Services dining units are accepting credit and non-PIN debit cards at unit registers. Accepted cards will include MasterCard, Visa, Discover and the PCT OneCard. All registers will continue to accept meal plans, Wildcat Plus and cash.

Pavi-Elle M. Stuck, 19, of Liverpool, Perry County, a freshman in the pre-occupational therapy major at Penn College, died from injuries suffered in an automobile accident Saturday, June 23, in Shamokin Dam. The Penn College flag will be lowered to half-staff, and a brick will be placed in her memory in the Remembrance Garden.

Anthony M. Doran, 21, of Howard, a student inPenn College'swelding major, died Saturday, May 26, from injuries suffered in a traffic accident in Howard Township, Centre County. The college flags will be lowered to half-staff, and a memorial brick will be placed in the Remembrance Garden in his honor.
