Volunteer dentists and dental hygienists, assisted by students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Dental Hygiene Program, will offer free oral screenings, sealants and education for children ages 7-15 during "Sealant Saturday" on Feb. 5. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Eleven students graduated from the Practical Nursing Program at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro on Saturday, Dec. 18.The 12-month program, which began in January, prepares graduates for employment in hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics and other health-care organizations.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has presented student awards to its December 2004 graduates. Two new e-mail viruses have arrived just in time for the holiday season. According to an advisory from Information Technology Services, both of the viruses work along the same line: They infect a computer, harvest all the e-mail addresses from the system, and then replicate through e-mails to those confiscated addresses.
