Six Pennsylvania College of Technology spring-sports athletes four in baseball and two in softball have earned Penn State University Athletic Conference all-conference honors. Baseball players cited include Jordan Staib of Williamsport; twin brothers Phil and James Woodring, both of Waynesboro; and Mike Daciw of Sun Valley.
Penn College placed second among six teams in last month's Heavy Equipment Rodeo at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center. The traditional event, at which students perform a number of maneuvers testing their skill on a variety of construction equipment, was won by Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology, Pleasant Gap.
Students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's construction majors received a continued boost at a recent awards banquet: the year's second contribution from The Women's Council of the West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association to defray the costs of annually attending the National Association of Home Builders competition.

The Practical Nursing Program at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus has been notified that the December 2005 graduating class achieved a 100-percent pass rate on the National Council Licensure Exam for Practical Nurses. The exam is given following completion of the 1,504-hour noncredit program and entitles graduates to use the designation of LPN.
