Penn College placed second among six teams in last month's Heavy Equipment Rodeo at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center. The traditional event, at which students perform a number of maneuvers testing their skill on a variety of construction equipment, was won by Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology, Pleasant Gap. Cayuga Onondaga BOCES, Olean, N.Y., placed third; and We-Mo-Co Vocational/Technical Center in Spencerport, N.Y., was fourth. The other two teams were from Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES in Olean and WSWHE BOCES, Southern Adirondacks,in Hudson Falls, N.Y.
