A nursing scholarship and commencement award have been established that will memorialize a former director of nursing at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The Linda F. Clark BS, RN Memorial Nursing Commencement and Scholarship Fund is being established by Dr. William B. Urosevich, associate professor of biology (anatomy/physiology) at Penn College.
In Fall 2001, Pennsylvania College of Technology will implement a new procedure for using College-owned computers and for connecting to the campus network. PGA Tour veteran Jeff Gallagher will be the featured professional at the15th Annual Spring Golf Classic hosted by the Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation on Monday, May 14, at the Williamsport Country Club. The annual fund-raising event for sponsors supports the Scholarship Aid Program for Penn College students, providing $134,500 in scholarships since 1990.
Students in cabinetmaking classes at Pennsylvania College of Technology will display their "capstone" projects in an exhibit scheduled for May 8-19 at the College's 202 Gallery. "Working Wood: Cabinetmaking and Millwork at Penn College" will include a variety of projects designed and built by the students, including wall cabinets, dressers, tall clocks, blanket chests and desks.
