Dr. William W. Ma, associate professor of mathematics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, wrote research papers that were published recently in two international journals of mathematics.

Campus View's Matthew S. Kelleher recently was named Penn College's "Resident Assistant of the Month." Kelleher, a junior from Bellefonte majoring in Business Technology Management, has been an RA for a little over a year. He was encouraged to apply for the position by a former Resident Assistant, Maurice Freeman, who also was his roommate.

Seven students at Pennsylvania College of Technology have been awarded scholarships for Spring 2005 from the Williamsport Hospital Campus of Susquehanna Health System. Receiving one-year, full-tuition scholarships are: Kirk D. Evans, South Williamsport, a Nursing student; and Rebecca Weaver, Williamsport, who is enrolled in the Physician Assistant major.

In the course of one season under coach Wes Strayer, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's volleyball team turned from an also-ran into a contender. This season, the Wildcats are expected to do even more.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro will offer one-day sessions this month on "Debt-Free Living" and "Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People." An "Introduction to Public Speaking" course will be offered on Monday evenings in April.
