This week, Student Activities will present its first in a series of three plays to be produced during the 2006-07 academic year: "Proof," by David Auburn, kicks off the season at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the ACC Auditorium. On Nov. 14, a group of 10 Penn College students, along with their instructor, visited the corporate headquarters of PPL Telcom in Allentown. The group was hosted by Paul Ciotta, marketing communications specialist.

Pennsylvania College of Technology was recently approved by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association to offer continuing-education courses in nursing, which will help provide local opportunities for registered nurses to meet new state requirements for continuing education.

Aviation faculty members at Pennsylvania College of Technology have established a scholarship fund to assist students in the aviation maintenance technology bachelor-degree major. Brett A. Reasner, associate professor of aviation, recently signed an agreement on behalf of the faculty to create the Aviation Maintenance Technology Scholarship.

A student production of the acclaimed drama, "Proof," will be presented free at Pennsylvania College of Technology's Klump Academic Center Auditorium this weekend. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; doors will open each night at 7. The college's Student Activities Office is sponsoring the theatrical production, which is directed by Kevin A.

The Caterpillar Foundation and its network of regional dealerships recently bolstered their historic investment in Pennsylvania College of Technology students, presenting $142,000 in additional support of three majors within the School of Natural Resources Management.
