The archery season is about to get underway while the basketball and wrestling seasons continue for Pennsylvania College of Technology athletes. During a busy week with three teams seeing action, the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team came away with the lone victory. Fifteen Pennsylvania College of Technology students passed the Pennsylvania Pesticide Applicator Certification exam offered in late November. “This certification is something that employers look for, so these students are at an advantage when it comes to finding a job," said Carl J. Bower, a horticulture instructor in the college's School of Transportation & Natural Resources Technologies.

Michael J. Reed has been named dean of the School of Sciences, Humanities & Visual Communications at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Reed, who had served as interim dean for the school since July, has more than 20 years of leadership, teaching and counseling experience.
