Safety Training Discounted for Eligible Companies in Region

Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering Industrial Arc Flash Safety Training at a substantially discounted price through funds provided by a U.S. Department of Labor Make It In America Grant to the Central Pennsylvania Workforce Development Corp.



To be eligible, participants must be incumbent workers at companies located in one of the following counties: Bradford, Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga or Union.

The class will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 24-25, on Penn College’s main campus in Williamsport. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $99, reduced by grant funding from the regular retail price of $349.
