“Dr. Mike Reed has done an outstanding job in his time leading the School of Sciences, Humanities & Visual Communications,” said Paul L. He is collaborative, a team builder and brings great energy and enthusiasm to his work. We all look forward to working closely with Mike in the coming years.”
Reed completed his doctoral studies through Drexel University with a concentration in educational leadership, focusing on innovation, sustainable systems and evidence-based professional development models. He completed his master’s degree and school counseling certification at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and his school administrative certifications were awarded through The Pennsylvania State University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in secondary education from Clarion University.
Reed’s volunteer activities include serving as vice president on The Salvation Army executive board, providing mentorship and professional development to K-12 leadership teams throughout the state, and assisting multiple youth-development programs throughout the Williamsport community.
