The next medical assistant class offered by Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology is scheduled to begin in September.

Beginning in May, Pennsylvania College of Technology will offer a series of cooking demonstrations to the public. The Creative Cuisine Series features six sessions presented by faculty and professional staff in the college's School of Hospitality. Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology has joined forces with ClickSafety Inc. to offer noncredit safety classes online. The offerings from the college and the Alamo, Calif.-based firm enable businesses to provide safety training for their employees regardless of their location or the number of workers who are participating.

Sixty-five people, representing 30 plastics companies, made a visit to Penn College's campus Oct. 22 for an Extrusion Minitec (a mini technical conference). The program was a joint effort of the Society of Plastics Engineers and the college.
