All employees are reminded that, with the implementation of the new student/employee ID number system, the collection of Social Security numbers from students and employees is, by policy, prohibited except where required by statute or authorized by President's Council.

Information Technology Services announces the successful completion of the yearlong SSN conversion project. With the cooperation of departments across campus, ITS staff were able to complete the final steps over the holiday break. All online systems that previously used Social Security numbers now use the Penn College ID number as the primary identifier of employees and students.

William F. Geyer, an assistant professor of building construction technology in the School of Construction and Design Technologies at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was among the presenters at the 52nd annual meeting and convention of the Architectural Woodwork Institute.
