The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Madigan Library, will host "Objects of Mourning," an exhibit by artist Renee Zettle-Sterling, Nov. 11 to Dec. 14. Zettle-Sterling's meticulously crafted metal and found-object pieces investigate how everyday objects can be sources of meaning beyond their physical properties.

A team of Pennsylvania College of Technology students won the 28th annual Precision Heavy Construction Equipment Rodeo, held at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center as part of the college's Open House. The rodeo is sponsored by the Service and Operation of Heavy Equipment Association (S&O), a student organization at Penn College. The Oct.

Presentation of a theatrical comedy at Pennsylvania College of Technology has been postponed until early spring due to a recent change in the show's cast. "Run for Your Wife," Ray Cooney's comedy about a London cab driver who has two lives, two wives (and a very precise schedule to keep it all straight) originally scheduled for production in mid-November will be presented at 7:30 p.m.

The Marcellus Shale Workforce Resource Center officially opened Thursday with ceremonies held at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The center, located inside Penn College's Center for Business & Workforce Development, provides a centralized location for industry, students and the public to obtain information regarding Marcellus Shale workforce-development initiatives.

All faculty, staff, alumni and students who currently serve or are veterans of the nation's military are invited to a Veterans Day Recognition event during the Wildcat women's basketball game against Valley Forge Military Academy at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in Bardo Gymnasium.

The School of Hospitality hosted Austrian wine expert Andreas Wickhoff on Penn College's main campus this week. Throughout his stay, Wickhoff talked with classes about wine pairing and the flavors and origins of Austrian wine. Wickhoff, managing director of Premium Estates of Austria, travels the world to promote wines of Austria's top producers.

A "Rose Street Got Talent" showcase, in which students competed for prizes while spectators enjoyed a fall-themed dinner buffet, was held Oct. 21 in Dauphin Hall. Winners were Jerikah Hite, first place, for singing and playing guitar; Oluwaseun Filade, second place, skilled song and dance; and Jeff Eshenour, third place for magic. Photos by Matthew C.

Forty-four alumni and more than 100 guests attended Penn College Alumni Hallo Fun Night at Knoebels on Saturday, Oct. 23. From scarecrows to Spiderman, all of the costumes were great.
