Pennsylvania College of Technology has been named the SkillsUSA Pennsylvania 2025 Partner of the Year for its strong support of the student-led organization – a renowned champion of the skilled trades – for nearly five decades. Penn College President Michael J. Reed accepted the award for the college at the State Leadership and Skills Conference.
Pennsylvania College of Technology recently bestowed a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Students on Elexus J. Dunkleberger, of Hughesville. Dunkleberger, who completed an associate degree in nursing from the college in December, was one of 15 nominees for the award following the Fall 2024 semester. She received nominations from two fellow students and from a family member of a patient she cared for during a clinical education experience.

An enrollment counselor in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Admissions Office has been honored by a statewide organization dedicated to the successful transition of students from high school to postsecondary education. The Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling presented the James McKeever Promising Professional Award to Sarah F. Marino, a Stroudsburg native, at its recent conference.

Hosted by the Office of Student Engagement, the gathering honored student leaders, their mentors and the student organizations who make an impressive and positive impact on campus and in the community.
As part of the spring semester’s finale events, Penn College hosted an Excellence in Student Leadership and Service Awards Ceremony to honor 11 graduating students who distinguished themselves by their high academic achievement, quality leadership and exemplary service.
The video “A 30-Year Anniversary Nearly 100 Years in the Making: The Community Arts Center” won a bronze Telly Award in the 45th annual competition. The Pennsylvania College of Technology entry earned its Telly in the Non-Broadcast – Arts & Culture category. Penn College owns and operates the Community Arts Center, a cultural cornerstone for the region, located on West Fourth Street in downtown Williamsport.
