The Pennsylvania College of Technology Athletics Department has announced the launch of its new website. Penn College partnered with SIDEARM Sports, one of the premier collegiate athletics website providers, to create a fan-friendly, interactive site. “This is something we’ve been looking to do for a long time,” said director of athletics Scott E. Kennell.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has announced the 2014 inductees to its Athletics Hall of Fame. The class is just the third to be inducted after being established in 2012 by Athletic Director Scott E. Kennell. “I could not be prouder of this induction class,” Kennell said. “Now in our third year, we have continued to show what outstanding athletes and coaches Penn College has had.

Matt R. Haile Matt R. Haile, award-winning coach of the Wildcat golf team and a member of the Penn College Athletic Hall of Fame, has qualified for the Pennsylvania Golf Association's 101st annual Amateur Championship. Haile shot an even-par 71 Monday at the Country Club of Harrisburg, one of six qualifying sites that will produce the 120-player field.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has won its second Telly Award of the year, thanks to a video featuring an inspirational student. “Masonry with Nicole” is a bronze winner for motivational online video programming in the 35th annual international competition.

Competing in the U.S. Collegiate Championships at Long Beach, California, from May 16-18, Pennsylvania College of Technology finished fourth as a team and had All-American archers in senior Kelvin Dewalt, of Easton; and juniors Kendel Baier, of Jersey Shore; Matt Cummings, of Mountville; and Nicole Lapinski, of Bloomsburg.

Led by a softball team that won a conference championship and placed among the top five at the Small College World Series, and an archery team that was fourth in the nation, there was plenty to celebrate by Pennsylvania College of Technology athletic teams during the 2013-14 school year. The Pennsylvania College of Technology Athletics Department has named Rafael Morais its new full-time men’s soccer coach starting in the 2014-15 academic year. The coaching position is the third to be moved to full-time status this year behind baseball and women’s soccer.  Morais comes to Penn College with extensive collegiate and professional experience.
