Penn College women’s basketball, women’s soccer and men’s lacrosse are teaming up to hold the second annual Wildcat Dash virtual 5K run and 1-mile walk. Register, then run or walk anytime and anywhere from Aug. 4-7! T-shirts and printable race bibs are included with all registrations, and competitive 5K runners are eligible to win medals and other prizes.

A Pennsylvania College of Technology online video devised to inspire and give thanks during the COVID-19 pandemic has earned a 2021 Telly Award, the world’s largest honor for video and television content across all screens. The 42nd annual awards recognized the video “Penn College Wildcats give thanks for UPMC Field” with a Bronze Telly in the Non-Broadcast Motivational category.

Preparation and composure. Those two things are the keys in a season that – for the first time – propelled the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s softball team to the North Eastern Athletic Conference championship and into the NCAA Division III Northeast Regional tournament.
Unchartered territory. That, in a sense, is what the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s golf team will be stepping onto Tuesday when it becomes the college’s first to compete in the NCAA Division III Championships. A second practice round is scheduled Monday with competition over the following four days on Speidel Golf Club’s Arnold Palmer and Robert Trent Jones Sr.
